This year, the Yakult factory came alive with colour, culture, and celebration as we welcomed Lunar New Year together. The space was transformed into a vibrant and festive environment, bringing joy to both staff and visitors.
One of the most eye-catching features was the range of playful and meaningful decorations throughout the factory. Our beloved Yakult Man and Yakult Man Blue made special appearances as fun cutouts, creating perfect photo moments and adding a cheerful touch to the celebration. Alongside them, traditional lion decorations symbolised strength, courage, and good luck for the year ahead.
A highlight of the day was the craft activity, where Yakult bottles were creatively incorporated into festive projects. Many of the crafts followed a horse theme, reflecting the year’s Chinese zodiac sign. In Lunar New Year traditions, each year is associated with an animal, and the horse represents energy, strength, and progress, qualities that inspire a positive and forward-moving start to the year. Even for those unfamiliar with the tradition, it’s a simple way of marking a fresh beginning with hope and momentum.
The celebration ended on a lively note with interactive games, bringing everyone together in laughter and friendly competition. The event perfectly blended tradition, creativity, and community spirit, making it a memorable start to the new year.
