Mid-Autumn Celebration at Yakult Australia!
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a tradition celebrated by Asian communities around the world. Marked by family reunions, mooncakes, and lanterns, it symbolises unity and gratitude. To honour this cherished cultural occasion, at Yakult Australia, we hosted a week-long Mid-Autumn celebration—bringing warmth and joy to our local Mandarin community and beyond.
Festive Decorations
Visitors were greeted with vibrant Mid-Autumn-themed decorations as soon as they stepped into our factory. From Yakult Man standees and full moon decorations, to Chang’e, Jade Rabbit, and mooncake displays, every corner offered a perfect photo opportunity. Families and friends gathered and captured festive memories under the lanterns.
The Mid-Autumn-themed Factory Tour
One of the event highlights was the Mid-Autumn-themed factory tour. Delivered entirely in Mandarin, the tour not only showcased our state-of-the-art Yakult production process but also included a delightful hands-on craft session for children. Using Yakult bottles, young ones transformed them into creative representations of Chang’e and Jade Rabbit—combining sustainability and fun.
The Interactive Wall Game
Our interactive wall game turned the factory into a hub of laughter and friendly competition. Designed for all ages, the family-oriented game brought people together in the spirit of the season. Through the world of probiotics and intestinal bacteria, the game experience was both educational and entertaining.
