Nutrition & Fibre - Excursion Only

Our Nutrition & Fibre excursion provides a fun and age-appropriate way for students to explore how their digestive system works and why fibre supports good gut health. Through interactive learning, students build a practical understanding of healthy eating in action.

What’s Included:

  • Factory Tour: View our factory safely through large viewing windows, where you can observe our food processing equipment designed specifically for manufacturing Yakult. This includes Yakult’s distinctively shaped bottles, filling and packaging lines, culture, and quality control rooms.
  • Interactive Digestive System Activity: A hands-on activity where students learn how our bodies process food.
  • Poo Types Activity: An engaging and informative activity exploring different types of poos (eg. constipation, diarrhoea) and their relation to diet.
  • Yakult Man Cartoon: A short cartoon about picky eating and what happens in your digestive system.
  • Complimentary Yakult Drink: Each attendee will receive a Yakult drink to enjoy (with parent/carer permission).
  • Fibre Activity: Learn about fibre sources and participate in a visual demonstration to see what happens to soluble fibre in the gut.
  • Complimentary Showbag: All attendees receive a Yakult showbag to take home.

 

Logistics:

  • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
  • Capacity: Up to 30 people per group, 60 people with two simultaneous groups
  • Location: 10 Monterey Road, Dandenong South, Victoria 3175
  • Availability: Monday – Friday (9am – 4pm). Bookings are essential
  • Cost: All programs are free!
