The Yakult Information Service (YIS) is comprised of a friendly team of highly qualified dietitians, nutritionists and teachers.
Each member of the YIS is trained to provide product support and information to all members of the community - consumers, health professionals, students and educators. Yakult is committed to creating strong links between education and industry.
YIS, also known "in-house" as the Public Relations Department, was established to increase the public's awareness and understanding of Yakult, the digestive system, intestinal flora and probiotics.
YIS offers a range of free educational activities, resource and services to all members of the community. These free services have been extremely popular with teachers, schools, tertiary institutions and community groups since Yakult was launched into Australia in 1994. Last year alone, more than 5,000 students and consumers took advantage of the following free services:
